Default SDCE Tension

Just installed my SDCE set up and have installed it twice....first time I set preload to 10 and then the tension was past the 20....so I took everything else and set the preload around 7 and the tension is now at around 18.........it is a brand new belt so I imagine it will stretch a bit but is this tension ok or do I need to re-do it again

Should be alright for now depending the amount of boost you are running....just keep an eye on it for the first 20 miles or so.

i wouldn't worry about it that much , like blwnta said, keep an eye on it for the first 20 miles or so , then you're golden

( you're gonna love this tensioner setup! )

Looking for 15 psi.....stock cubes, 9.5 comp, 7.25" crank pulley and 3.4" blower pulley

Thanks guys

Got another question:

Does the idler pulley have to be all the way down...? With the tensioner held back I cannot get it all the way down. It is close to the bottom though

No...as longs you have good tension and the belt is not rubbing itself as it goes by your fine.
