The Spectre brand EMS is a universal system with complete fuel spark and boost control, real nice unit for the money. Less than $1000 with the harness. It uses Megasquirt technology.

I think you mis-understood "EVEN works with OBD2" to mean "ONLY works with OBD2". I assure you, the AEM F/IC works just fine on my Jet Ski and it certainly isn't OBD2. It's actually easier to tune on OBD1.

All I kept seeing was "The F/IC gives users with OBD-II vehicles and non-factory forced induction systems the ability to retard ignition". But thats cool your running it on your jet ski. Do you race them or is it just a project? If I do end up doing a stand alone I will probably go with megasquirt. Im getting the rest of the hot pipes welded up tomorrow. I will try to get pics of the completed turbo system up in the next few days.

Mainly just a project, but I did compete in a National top speed shootout last weekend, where I placed about 20th out of 80 ski's. My ski makes about 280 hp on a turbocharger and the stock ECU with the AEM F/IC.

I drove the car for the first time on the 4th. Its everything I expected and more at only 5psi. The A/F readings are about 12.4 under WOT. I cant wait to finish the meth injection and turn up the boost
