turbo oil return line

Default turbo oil return line

how low do your turbo have to be before you ahve to get a scavernger pump. my turbo sits right in front of the harmonic balancer and im draining in the side of my oil pan so yes my turbo is a few inches above the oil pan but i dont know if it have to be way high to use gravity return.

Sounds like it should be fine, is it smoking at all?

As long as your drain line has a downward slope and is not draing below the oil level in the pan while running you will be fine.

Just shoot for a down hill slope and for the drain opening to be above the oil level in the pan. You will be fine.

the car had not been fired up yet. but i will route it like a downslope. thanks for the advise.

Good question. So is it also ok to clock the turbo drain a bit (45* or under) or does it need to be straight down?

Default An 10 oil return flanges

Ive got some oil return flanges if you need to go with 45s or 90s with AN fittings?? I bought these for my other turbo project that i sold to buy the APS !!if you think these could help ??let me know
