i did a GTK1000 on my forged 347 and it spools extremely fast. so any 76mm turbo should do you well.

TC76 is one of the fastest spooling turbos that can make lots of power.
T76 does not spool as fast as the TC76 but will make a bit more power.
ST80 will spool almost the same as the T76 and make more power.
The Garret GT47 you talked about is a nice turbo (high priced) but i think you can get more from an ST80, also the ST80 will spool faster.

Also IMO a 9:1CR is close to the supercharger area, i would have done something near a 8.5:1 just IMO.

Check out ForcedInductions.com & give them a call, they are VERY helpful.

Thanks gordon, that turbo description will help me a lot and I'll try to run 18 psi on race fuel, do you think this could give me any problems?

You can run 18# on race gas even pump gas if you have ot set up right and tune.
I am guessing you are using thick deck heads? What brand are you using because you do not want them lifting or pushing water.

I know the TPS guys have a Twin Turbo F-body @ 18# and the heads have not lifted. Yettttttt......... They are running there 7.0x heads 280cc.

Whats the compleat break down of your engine, car, and what you are trying to do.

This is a good deal i rec the gt 47-88 this is a bad turbo i was gonna do a 331 in my mustang and use this exact turbo!its a very effiecent turbo for the size it spools kinda quick and you also have alot of room to grow with this turbo you cant go wrong with a gt 47.PLUS YOU CAN MAKE A TON OF POWER WITH IT!

They also have various A/R's for them as well. People have made 1100+ hp on a single unit. I'm buying either two of these or two of the 87mm's they make, heard nothing but good things about these turbos and for the price you can't beat them.

Outflows a few similar size units like the comparable GT garrets.
That is the same turbo as our Budget S400-80 we build in house. Nothing special about it.... We also have them for 899. Not sure what Bullseye preps on them....they are standard units. Guess they prep the box they ship it in.

I'd sell my GT47-88 I bought a 106mm to try. But I'm going to run my car as is for the rest of the summer and look to run a stronger more relevant ET with the current setup.

My car does take time to spool, would be curious as to how other folks' similar setup spools.

I'd say that the car feels like mid to high 9's at 15 psi right now on pump gas which is pretty cool.

no point in a tc76 with the tc78 available both will spool the same pretty much with the 100 hp advantage to the 78 of course

I totallly agree, i ordered the tc78 i wrote 76 on accident. So its safe to say that since my kit was made to fit a t76 on it,when i get my tc78 it should fit no problem.Correct?

Heck no I would not try to spool the 88 with these cubes, my car does not really take off until 5 grand as it is.
