Thanks Dude, Hopefully I'll be getting it done within the next two weeks. I've gotta do a little bit each day. Ripped the stock fuel lines out off the car today. Gotta plumb the tank tomorrow for 8an feed. tons-o-fun.

What clearance problem do you have?

Do you have the SS Racing rails from Speed Inc?

Mine fit no problem.

yes the speed inc rails.
the clearance problem we are talking about is the interferance with the relocated altinator.
mightmouse has pics on his sight of the problem.
yours would fit ok because your altinator is in the same spot right?

Looks like Johns sits it more to the left. Probably because of how the pullies are routed from the blower.

Yeah it's gonna be a biznitch with the fuel rails. I gotta put my intake plenum back on to see exactly for sure how it's going to work. I can definately see right now that I'll be cutting some plastic (maybe a lot) off the alternator cover. The plastic "air vent" on the back needs to be cut down I'm sure. But if that's what I gotta do, then that's what I'll do. No going back now! lol.

Chris aka Znines made the alternator bracket. It's old school style, it's manually adjusted. It's made from billet steel.

His email address is znines@earthlink.net

Ok, so I've done everything I can to get the rail to work. No such luck. Today I cut the rail. Now I need a g'damn 3/8" NPT tap to rethread. This better work is all I can say.
