Default APS charge pipe came off oncesusp loaded

Has any of you had the drivers side turbo charge pipe come off once the car was on the ground and loaded? I notice when it was being alighned that it was off of the turbo hose its self! It looks like the front sway bar lifted or pushed up on the pie its self when the susp was loaded!! It almost looks like the only way to fix it, is the pipe its self needs to be bent down right at or aft the front sway bar!! Any thoughts guys????

I don't think you can run a Front sway bar with an APS kit. I had to take mine off as well. Was not to happy when I found this out.

I don't have the aps kit, but my crossover pipe was in the way of the front swaybar big time and we had to make spacers that are about 2" tall to lower the swaybar. Works great.

chances are you need to put in new engine bushings/mounts, the ones you have are sagging and screwing with the placement of the turbos hoses and lines.

My front sway bar (35mm from SLP) was banging on the charge pipes at first... I found a few speed bumps and fixed that real quick! There's plenty of clearance now.

Hmmm, stock swaybar on the car with no problems now. But good to know that I might run into this if I lower the car. I was planning to eventually go the Strano route. Thanks for the info Ed!

The F body twin turbo system was designed around the stock F body sway bar and the turbo system fits perfectly with the stock sway bar.

I've tried, turning the pipes upwards and they just dont clear, I dunno, I was thinking of taking the pipes to an exhaust shop to have them re-bent. Unless you guys can suggest otherwise.

Maybe spacers are the way to go.
