Default Question about getting new setup to the dyno?

So this weekend im swapping out my pte67mm for the new tc78,swapping the high impedence 60lb injectors for some seimen 83lb low impedance with a driver. I need to get it to the dyno which is going to be about 50miles away.

What should i do to drive it out there? Can i just lower my fuel pressure and set it using the wideband? Obviously im not going to beat on it at all,but i dont want to have to get it towed.

i dont know if the the car will run/idle going from 60 to 83 pound injectors.. Depending on your tuner you might be able to run up there with your pcm, have them flash it with a super safe tune that you can get the car there. Other then that.. maybe swap out turbo, go really easy on it, stay out of boost, and then swap injectors in his parking lot, should take you under 30 mintues to do them.

I'd try to trailor it or even rent one from u haul. That's a little bit of modding to be driving that far.

Id be really happy with 625whp. Its going through a 9inch and an unlocked converter so i have a lot of drivetrain to push through. Im also switching to e-85 so im thinking my goals are possible.

I can rent a u haul and pull it with my Jeep. I just really wanted to fire it up also just to make sure i dont have any wierd leaks, bleed the coolant and a few other things before the dyno.

You could always leave the old injectors in there and not completely hook up the driver until you get where you are tuning it. We have people do that all the time when they are coming to our shop to get their cars tuned. Bob

What about the high imp RC75's injectors? I would think those would be enough, maybe not?

I would first try putting back the older injectors and remove the converter box temporarily. If you ware not willing to do that, they I would trailer it down.

I havent wired the box in yet.I think what ill do is install the turbo first, drive it around and make sure everything is still okay,(coolant, exhaust leaks).Ill put like 20 miles on it.
Then ill install the the driver and injectors and trailor it over.

If you got the versafuler it has a bypass so to speak built into the harness. It has male and female connectors built into each side (computer and engine side). Leave the old injectors in it and drive it to the dyno. At the dyno throw the injectors and hook up the harness so it goes through the versafueler.
