I dunno, I'm in the market for a nice elbow and not sure what to go with either. The bend on that one looks too rough though. Wonder what the inside diameter is in the bend? Don't someone make a nice low-profile sheetmetal elbow?

oh and its not a open circle at the bottom of the bend..it has like a divider in the middle i guess to separate air flow

did u have cut anything or anywhere to get it to fit under the cowl/wiper area???...looks good! Just as i expected ive been thinking of doing this setup for a while but the only manifold that would fit the L92/LS3 heads would be the GM high performance unit but with this elbow!!

Looks pretty good!! I've got the L92 head, intake problem too...lol. I like not having to cut anything like that, definatly gonna look into it more.

ah hell! i just ordered it. i will let everyone know how it works. i wont have no dyno #'s. but i will have some track times! i dont think it would be to constrictive on a forced induction motor. think about all the bends and intercooler the air already goes thru.

it looks like it will be fine

nitro daves carries one that goes to the facory t.b. location, but it has a hellacious bend, but i have read it does not hinder airflow neither

Well hell! I've got solids too... Forgot about those rasing the motor. crap. I've got a lift-off cowl, so hood clearance shouldn't be a prob, but I don't wanna lose my wipers. Is it just the plastic you had to cut?

Oh no !!! LOL! I had to go in the metal you wont loose your wiper dont sweat it. as far as your hood your golden. Just be careful not to go to far. I got vacume lines on the back of the elbow and I still have great clerance from the wiper arm.

Ditto. I wouldn't mind seeing one of the larger elbows though. A little cutting would be ok.
