Optional race cover is coming is about 3 weeks. Took a little bit for the castings to become available.

That unit is the standard bearing EZ-94 version. The DBB looks exact same.

The race cover is the Thumper style cover with no re-flow slots.

I like how you guys necked the cover down to a 3 1\2 to fit the rules

Their is going to be alot of rule changes coming up for some of the big race classes. So we are trying to stay on top of things. Hard to though since they change almost monthly is seems...

Is the thumper cover going to be the same as the S95 cover, or a little smaller?

Can that turbo also be had in a 91mm flavor? Or would the FI-X 91 be a better choice?

Keep up the good work!!

They are much smaller. We no longer build anything that big anymore. The S95 cover is STUPID big and no one can fit it, plus it looks like crap...lol. All our thumper covers now are no larger then the standard Garrett Thumpers everyone is use to seeing on all the race cars. We can do them with a 91mm as well, but the 91mm version right now is not a billet version, though billet doesn't add any extra flow...just extra strength to keep from having blade deflection.

Also the FI-91X is a BAD BOY....don't really know of anything that outflows it right now.

The EZ94 is very broad and has great mid-range. Where it really shines is in the 20-25psi range on a 350-380ci engine.

Just a little FYI. A full race built 2JZ on alcohol with EZ-94X with race cover made 1598rwhp on the dyno. Lets see one of the LSX guys top that....lol

Those are really impressive. I can't wait to see what they'll do on a LS platform.

Their are several on LSX paltforms already. Red83 on this board has a EZ street LS based T/A. Should be hitting the track soon.......

I don't think that number is hard to beat with the lsx block and 6 bolt heads with the right setup. Most of the race guys here are more concerned with their times rather than dyno numbers. I loved it when Steve took the fastest supra. I wanna see a rematch however since the supra blew the launch.

no problem. most of the guys in this section run faster than 12's.

.....and most here don't do highway roll ons from 120 mph.

track numbers are what count. dyno numbers don't mean much to anyone that doesn't own a supra.
