Mine wasn't bad when i first put it on.. it was a little noticeable, but not like this.. I think maybe it got bent from all the stress pullin on it???

I dunno, Smokinhawk pmed me, and wants to take care of it.(wants to send me another, he think the material on mine is weak.)

best one on the market...... this is what i have and its great! don't even need a tensioner its groved so that you can tension it using the alternator.

i had nothing but belt issues with my last bracket till i went to this.

speed inc should have them instock.

Yea it is a very nice bracket... But you have to use that alternator also. 199 for bracket and 249 for alt, You are close to 500 dollars when you put a belt on it..

I have something in the works. I should have my prototype ready in a week or 2. Its going to be very functional and look good too. I am working with a local mfg. shop using their plasma table to mass produce them. There will be a stainless version also, the mild steel version will go for about 100 & I plan on including all the bolts needed. I'll post up a thread with pics once I get all the kinks worked out of the prototype.

ill try and get some more info/pics for you guys. i have to give my boy psychopjv credit on this one.

its really quite simple though. its just the stock bracket bolted to the head with an offset spacer from behind... WP tab to alt mounting hole. tensioner is on the lower driver side. not one rib has been skipped this year. last year with the stock style setup i had issues all the time with walking belts

Are you using the Katech tensioner? If not what tensioner are you using?

The Katech tensioner is $134.00, I hope there's a way to reuse the stock tensioner.

Mounted in the stock location? In the pic I saw a pulley below the bracket but I just assumed it was the non ribbed idler that bolts to the bracket.

i think it is one of the pieces i made for him (is that right)
if so it goes like this with a special bracket.

also found out that the reason sideways240's bracket was bending was because he was missing a piece to the bracket, might have fallen out of the package when shipped, or i might have forgot to ship it some how, anyways he should have that piece in a day or so, should fix the problem.

Yeah that looks like the stock tensioner down there. So either way you go it looks like there is fabrication involved.

yes, its the stock tensioner with the pulley switched out to a smooth one.
that one will not work with the ptk/ebay ones though as the up pipe and turbo sit in the way, it will kindof work for the truck manafold kits.
