Another vote for smokinhawk. I got one with my kit that very similar to his and works great. Everyone that has his says that it awesome too, I even think that its not too bad on price as well.

i got mine from smokinhawk. Its a great price, and got my car going....

My only issue with it is the top of the alternator wants to come forward, and it gets worse when i put tension on the belt...

I also just had a belt get ripped to pieces doing about 120 the other day.. I think it has worked for many others, and i put around 1500 miles on mine, and lots of passes with no issues, and the other day it came off. I think i am going to try to add a piece that pulls the top of the alt back in line, and keeps it there.

Smokinhawk has been great when i told him i was concerened about it earlier. He offered to exchange it for another, or get me one of his older style, but i want the newere style that clears aftermarket fuel rails.

Here are a couple pics of what im talking about.

Sorry about flash it was dark outside...

Yea.. and it either comes off the non ribbed water pump, or comes off the power steering.(I have not seen it happen, but did happen) This may not be the case for everyone. Im sure he would get me another one and make things right if i asked..

I honestly like fixing things on my own.

Hmm, not sure if thats my problem too but the other day sitting in the driveway my battery surged really low, like to less than half the norm. I revved it up and took it for a drive than it was ok like nothing happened. Later I noticed that the belt had made a bit of black crap just above the alt pulley. My lean wouldn't be anywhere's as noticeable as yours but maybe something like this is my problem, or was I hope. I don't have his bracket but something similar. Hope we can bothe figure here out

Yeah definently...

I am going to need one if I want to keep my power steering and do twins.

Here is Tiagos car with pics, this is kinda what I want to do, but with 5.3 manifolds.

best one on the market...... this is what i have and its great! don't even need a tensioner its groved so that you can tension it using the alternator.

i had nothing but belt issues with my last bracket till i went to this.

speed inc should have them instock.
