sts guys come in!!

just want to know what max hp can a STS GT67 reach with a built 408 cid 9.1 compression any info would be appreciated thanks

Not enough for that motor....

Probably 12-14 psi.. I dont know about HP i would think 600 or so

u mean i would not get as much hp from the sts compare to another kit?

No, he means that turbo is too small for that cubic inch motor. A T76 would be a start with a 408 to make some good power. A gt67 is really good for a smaller c.i. like a 346.

Dont even try the 67.I had a 70 from my previous build when I did my 408 and It was way to small.I run a 88mm out back now.

Depends on your goals. For your motor, you could easily do a 70 or bigger, but turbo size generally has very little to do with how much boost you can run or how much boost it will take. The nice thing about having a big motor with the 67 is that you may only need 8psi or so to get 600hp, as opposed to maybe 13-14 on a stock ci motor...these are not real figures, just an example.

GT67 will be efficient up to 600-650rwhp. If you want above 650, then you should definitely think about upgrading.
