anyone have a muffler recommendation? i think i should order the muffler first and more pipes before i start welding up the rest of the DP pipes......unless running DP pipe all the way to the back would sound ok, hmmmmmm

I was going to go cutout, but wanted it quieter...but not all the weight of the catback. I decided to step up my 3" downpipe to 4" right after the firewall, run a short 4" dynomax bullet where the stock cat. normally goes, ordered two mandrel S-bends to tuck the 4" pipe up in the tunnel area and ordered a 6" round magnaflow muffler there with a turn down right after it. Had to pound in the inner back edge of the backseat, and hung it up on a hanger there from the previous duals that were on the car. Should keep the sound down pretty well, be pretty deep sounding, and decently quiet...plus lighter weight! I'll post the vid of the first startup on the 12th.

Haha, well as of right now I can get a pic of the end of my DP posted (under the firewall edge) and the hammered floorboard....and a box of exhaust pieces! I'm towing the car to the exhaust shop early the AM of the 12th to get the exhaust done before the car is on up to the tuner. I'll get lots of pics and vid if you can hold out for a bit.
These are the mufflers I'm using...
this in 4"
and this one in a 4" as well...14" length with the magnaflow logo on it (numbers are not correct part numbers) its magnaflow #14163...
both of them are straight thru like this one...

money shot pic!
far left pipe is the 3inch pipe feeding the turbo, the skinny is the wastegate being dumped back into the far right 3inch down pipe,
the pipe that is near the oil filter is the crossover pipe and the pipe to the right of it is where the downpipe end's at
you can see where it ends at here better
the pipe on the far left is where it starts to log into the other side, if you notice all my pipes are about the K-member, nothing hangs lower than the oil pans
and a pic of the outside just for ***** and giggles hehe

backyard kit i built it becuase my car when i planned this setup, was lowered and it scrapped on the ground alot and i didnt want to run pipes below the K, i didnt know about OFI at the time so i started building my own setup, then about 4 months into it i saw their kit and it pretty much would have been easier with less pipes, but spark plug access a bitch, i'm using the manifolds in stock config so plug changes are a breeze about 35 minutes for all 8
tomorrow i'm going to start making my pipe run to the back as far as i can with the left over U bends i have, hopefully i can get it past the tranny running the stock config (along side the driveshaft inside the tunnel, to again keep ground clearence )
