Default belt tensioner question

ok i got everything all bolted up need to add fuel and coolent..

my downpipe is a lil close to my belt...its clears but a lil to close for my comfort..

i have the tti alt recloation bracket..

is there any way to switch the tensioner so it pushes forward?? reverse the spring??

or any know if you can take the k tech tensioner and put a smooth pully on it and push it forward?

its a 6.0 manifold single steup where it y up front like all the others out there

im useing the tti alt relocation bracket from my old tti kit. that tensioner is underneath.

i need to take the tensioner and insted of it putting pressure backwards

i need to add a smooth pulley and place the belt in front and have the tension push forward..

ill look and see if i can find a pic.

ooooo, gotcha

yea you could mount a solid tensioner there, but as many belt problems as there are with high mount alterantors, i would expect you to have a lot of trouble keeping the belt on with a smooth pulley on the backside

yeah i thought the same..

this one brian made up along time ago would prob work..

dumb question can i flip the tensioner? looks like he has it flipped?

or there is the one from speed inc that dosnt use the tensioner at alll
but that a good chunk of change....for a bracket and a altinator
