69 vette, your car may have just become my favorite on the site. I thought smkn95ta's car was the nicest, but I think you have him beat.

Thanks for all the compliments guys!

Kyle: Thanks for the pics. The car looks like it was sitting really high back then compared to now lol.

No Prob man.

Saw it at VMP when we were there.... Shawn snapped the input shaft in 1/2

Saw the 8.xx pass at low boost too.

SB2 w/ a 101 if my memory is correct.

SB2.2 headed sbc w/ a PT98. Check my thread in the "single digit club" and ask questions there rather then getting PSJ's thread way off topic

Everyone else, thanks again for the compliments on the car.

LOL no worries, this is a good hijack. I'm thinking a 98 and 106 would be pretty similar size wise.

most thumper chassis setups would be similar size. The FI-X setup by Forced inductions is a mid frame and is pretty close to the GT47 in size...I believe mine came in at ~1" bigger in diameter on the compressor and a bunch bigger on the turbine.

Yes the FI-X unit is a touch bigger. Our new FI 94EZ billet turbo is about the same size as the GT47 and GT55 as well. Most of the units out there we are building with new stuff we are doing our best to keep them sized close to the GT thumpers. Most of the thumper stuff from BW is just plain to big and looks like CRAP. Generator covers look like junk......

You can see the FI-98X in this pic below, thanks to Fireball, looks much better and sleeker.....

Also John, the PT91 through the 106 are all the same size externally. Only difference is interally.

I think I am gonna borrow the desing of that turbo setup for my shop car if I ever get back around to doing anything with it.

It is a truely bad *** setup and layout.
