vicosity of the oil depends on clearance of crank / b/e bearings
we run fuchs formular 60. 25w-60
80 psi cold idle
65 psi hot idle
115 psi @ 7500 rpm and 35 psi boost
mains and b/e around .0035 to .00375

I run Valvoline VR1 if its available
Otherwise I run a Good quality synthetic 5-50 and a bottle of GM EOS every change. Change oil every 2000miles or 30 passes whichever happens first. Oil's cheap in comparison to the hard parts in the motor.
Ported LS6 Pump from SDPC. 45Psi Hot idle 80psi @6000rpm 14lbs boost.

I'll have an answer on Evans coolant in a couple weeks if Evans gets my backordered stuff to Thunder Racing.
I've been running RedLine 5W-40 since the supercharger was hung on the engine. Much more stable temps when hot than Mobil 1 5W-30, that slight lifter noise is gone too.

I might have to do that. I have an iron block 370ci, and running Pennzoil 10w30 synthetic....and my oil pressure while warm got below 20PSI...I about freaked...
I was having low oil pressure issues with mobil1 5w30 so I went to 10w30 and it seemed to go up just a tad. After 1000 miles of beating on it the seemed low again. Yesterday I put in rotella 15w40 I think it is and the pressure is up nice an high right now. After full break in I'll switch to rotella synthetic. That is what I run in my tdi jetta and it has 216k on the original motor/turbo so it can't be that bad.
