t-56 con: if you are going to race it you need a spare one on deck, just as built and expensive as the first.

Ouch - Too True! (Yep, you're not the only guy to blow up a T56!)

lol
I don't have two trannies, but Ive broken one on my 2nd 1/4 mile run with the tranny ever, first run to actually go WOT, less then 200 miles on it total, then rebuild the tranny, go back to the track and again, broken it on my 2nd 1/4 mile run AGAIN, first again being only a feeler, and 2nd being WOT, also only 200 or so miles on it, so zero sucess there.

by the way I had to add the Blow off valve part.

I'm in the same boat....just need to get it all to work now. My car won't respond to any throttle input when it comes to the a/f ratio.

And to add to the thread AUTO's RULE

not trying to scare, but this is def. the type of stuff to be prepared for if you try to go fast (at the track). especially with heavy cars and a lot of tq behind a clutch that can take it.

my 9 second pass from 2004 i could never beat when m6. i had a lot more power, but reliability went so far down i never got a clean high power pass

I guess the big factor is how much you really race it and how important the time slip is. With an STS, bad driving and horrible traction I got 12.3 @120 while my friends bolt on only with stall auto got 12.5 @110 but I would totally take him apart on the street. I just went SC and the car is alot more "manageable" now.
boost controller!?!?!?
