looking more for specs. it going to be a custom grind cam but trying to get a starting point.
if anyone has any sound clips of this type of cam i was thinking 230 in 236 ex maybe 115 center line. want it to drive easy in city traffic at idle to 1500 rpms

I have 236/245//598/608//115+0 in my 402. It has a lot of chop and lope in it It idles about 1000 RPMs in a 4L60E. You can really feel the cam start to come alive about 3500 to 3600 RPMs and is a good match for the 3800 stall I have.

If you are looking for something that will idle like stock, I would suggest a 03+ ZO6 cam. I know many will say that is too small for a 402, but it will idle like stock and make some good power. If you do not mind a little lope/chop, a 220/228//58x/59x//115+0 cam would make good power.

the Z06 cam is a popular suggestion. I know alot of people say to take the Z06 over the LPE GT2-3 cam becuase they are pretty similar grinds, but the LPE is more refined in my opinion. and it is what i will be putting in my future DD 403 D1SC build.

Anybody have any sound clips of this size cam? or something up to 230 in 236 ex maybe 116 where do you think power would peak with first cam and where hp would peak with bigger one?
