Mine's in the garage awaiting the outcome of a court hearing. Long story short: It had the STS T67 kit with meth at 8 psi and ran 12.0 @ 120 once and was making a funny noise at the end of the track. Started tear down, wife left, and I've been paying a lawyer ever since. If I end up owning it, It'll come back with a T76 and a forged motor of some type. I'm just making do with the skittle for now...

My forged engine and turbo setup have about 9000ish miles on them. My car has 29,936

Within the last 7 months, the car has gotten a bullet muffler (catback delete), tubular K-member and adjustable lower arms, 12 bolt, tubular PHB, and some little neatening of wiring...

It has run very hard at 14.5-16.5 psi on pump and meth. Every trip out with the car I roll into it at least a few times. I have been very happy with it. The only reason it hasn't been on the track is it's waiting for it's last (for now) mods; a 4l80, stall, and driveshaft. The Textralia clutch has held up beautifully with drag radials and the boost has been as high as 19psi on good gas.

Here is a quite recent pic:

Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout. I love the understated look.

I have been lurking and posting a bit for awhile now. I got my aps kit last fall but never planned to put it on the stock engine. I assembled parts over the winter and ordered a new forged up 408 in early spring. Ordered it from Canadian Performance and of course Dave their main guy passed away and my plans got delayed a bit but sounds like should have engine this month sometime. Hoping to get it in the car this season . Still have to pick up fuel system thiink going with the aps one for now. And will need new rear end next year most likely when will hopefully make it to track until get kicked off ,and to dyno.

I have been playing here and there with dsms..thats laser/talons/eclipses and did have a wicked 97 awd talon to drive but it had problems last spring think clutch disaster and just parked it as have too many other projects on the go. But at least the dsms did wet my appetite for turboing my 99. And still working on a full track only dsm project.

A local guy just threw together a pretty much ebay kit on his third gen and has managed to get kicked off the track with 11.23 at 125mph and think 1.8 60ft.
that is excellent as we have many heads, cam, header, bolt on ls1s that can't do much better than 11.8 at 118 with 1.8 60fts up here. Our track is 1700 feet above sea level and density air is usually nasty..4500 last weekend.
That car that ran that time dynoed at like 470rwhp think on mustang dyno but they tweaked it to look more like dynojet numbers. Forget the torque.Still got to respect turbos. We have very few turbo ls1s in our local club. We have one sts rear mount near stock but he has never tracked it. Most all our club guys are heads/cam/headers bolt ons ,few run spray. NA cars don't run that fast around here though. Need fi to overcome the altitude and bad air days.

My junk is sitting waiting for me to get off my *** and install all the new stuff. Ill run the regular turbo's at the LSX shootout since the upgrade isnt done yet. Knocking down 10.00's is becoming very consistant

Update on my car. My forged 408 shortblock has been picked up by the shipping company from Canadian Performance yesterday and should be here within a week or so.
I am still hoping to get it installed with the APS kit hopefully with a few weeks left to play with it. Car goes away by nov 1 normally . I am not sure can afford to get the fuel system in there that want right now so might just baby the car at low boost or half throttle .I have 60 pounders to start with but still need to figure out which pump and all the rest of the fuel system. Its between NASTY with their custom tank and the APS dual pump setup.
Still need a good rear end and want to go dana 60 ,having some trouble figuring out if want 3.54 or 3.73 gears. Also thinking hard on dumping my t56 and going 4l80e fully built one. Guess see how things go . My twin disc might do ok ,but autos are still better for turbo cars in my opinion.

Mine sits in the garage and I see it every day when I park my TBSS next to it. It's pretty much done though I wanted to ask Madman whether I should raise it up since the rear 325's have made some contact here and there.

I'm at a fork in the road where I should make the car more street friendly, or try to connect up with someone who has more time to campaign a race car. With several businesses, and a young family it's hard to hit the track on a regular basis.

My new build finally seems to be ready to hit the dyno for tuning & #s, and then when I can get the cage in I'll see if it will run a single....hopefully yet this year.

New build:
F1-C ~ 20psi, SDCE tensioner
408 - 6L bored .030 & stroked, Callies dbl keyed Dragon Slayer & H beams, Mahle coated pistons
Stage III 6L heads, hogged out 2.05 & 1.6 valves, Pat Gold springs
Vic Jr intake ported & polished
EPP Stage II cam +2*, Morrel lifters
Kooks 1 7/8 LTs
Alky Control Meth Kit & EPP FMIC
UMI tube front & SFCs, Morrison cage
M9 rear narrowed 1" ea side w/True Trac
4L60E - will be a TH400 + a T-brake for the track

It's literally broken in (broke the pins off the crank @ 1st WOT - hence the new Dragon Slayer), I just need to due some more tuning & then we'll see what she'll do. My goal is 800+ rw & mid 9s....we'll see.

Car looks like the pic below only with the lic cover removed & the FMIC showing...I'll post some pics tonight of the eng bay.

My build isn't exactly revised, and I came from H/C Cars, but here she is:

D1-SC 8 Rib Setup, 3.7 Pulley w/8" Crank Pulley
9.5:1 396 CI, Lunati Pistons, Lunati Crank, Eagle Rods, ARP Fasteners/Studs
AFR 205's
Kooks 1 7/8's, Jet Hot Coated
XP Racing Built 4L60E w/PI Tripple Disc 3200 Stall
BMR Parts throughout underneath w/QA1's
4.5 Twin IC's (I know, I'm looking into an FMIC)

Car makes 15psi, shows 13 on the dyno, first power pull and Duty Cycle is off the chart, made peak at 5500 (due to no fuel up top I assume) at 653 RWHP 85* outside.

Driver box for the new injectors is in, the injectors are being flow matched now, car with any luck, will see the dyno again before next weekend and I'm hoping for 700 or close to it in similar conditions.

My ride is running like a champ. 700 rwhp all day long on pump. 5k miles with only oil changes as maintenance. Runs like a stock camaro until you mash it.

Damn, i never thought it would be running

Dual keyways are a good idea when pushing that f1c. What kind of impeller speed are you running?

You too? Lol.. mines a bit below yours in sheer HP but it's an absolute dream to drive. All the best qualities of a daily commuter and an absolute demon when deep in the boost. No Methanol/Alcohol/water injection. Just Walmart premium pump gas.
