Default Question about adding the FAST intake to my set-up??

Will the new 92mm FAST intake and TB help with my set-up on my APS kit and my 402 stroker. I'm also upgrading the turbos to the bigger ones. I have an Ls6 intake now. What kind of HP gains can I see.

i dont think you will see much versus the cost of it, can those fast intakes handle allot of boost yet, probably not, might just end up bursting and wasting all your money.

i say save the money and spend it elsewhere, missed that u had the ls6 already.I doubt new combo is worth the gain for the money u would spend $1 per horsepower

Intakes and forced induction really have no impact...I picked up a 92mm Combo for my APS setup only because i couldnt pass the deal up!

Also, FAST intakes will hold. Many people are using them including APS and i havent heard any bad news about them!

Well I'm getting bigger turbos and custom made inlets. Spoke with the shop today and he was great and had all the questions answered I could ask and showed me the turbos. Said I should see 1100rwhp with my set-up I have. All going with a 100mm MAF, So that makes me a happy man.
Car should be there at the end of Aug. To start the fab up.

So no MAF will support 1000-1100rwhp? And why wont a FAST intake work for 1000hp?

The airflow meter pegs around 500hp, no reason in having it after its done right. The PROPER way of tuning boost is by boost pressure, up to 5bar on most aftermarket computers.

The fast will work, we have seen 23psi on one before, didnt leak or blow up, i think its here say untill i see it in person, just like the notorious blower cam for centri's lol, someone say bigfoot.

But realisticly, if your shooting for that much hp, it can be done, but anything at that power level will not leave your wallet light. A nice ported vr/jr should be able to take the rpms up and out flow it. Besides, how do you plan to street drive 1100hp?

Yup. Based on my experience, I would say go 2-3 bar with HPTuners or EFILive if you can't afford BigStuff3 or another standalone......one of the best things you can do to a FI turbo car.
