Talking Picked up my boost friendly 347 today

347 forged Mahle pistons and eagle h-beam rods stock crank

Holy ****! thats they way im building my other motor now same parts! But im using arp on the bottom end with coated clevite berings.

LOL I have all the clavet coated bearing and ARP main studs, unless you ment the rod bolt upgrade

Mains ,rods ect ect. LOL You should do good with that motor.550=650 depending on boost and turbo and tune! I plannin on running 17 psi on mine when I get a z28 roller or st10 with a tc 76 custom set up.

Great minds think alike LOL I am doing a custom rear mount w tc 76 . My only limiting factor is going to be the fuel sytem so I am planing on making as much as I can on that . I am thinking 500-600 through a th-350

The machine work all the bearings total seal rings and all the other stuff would have ran me $1800 but I needed new pistons cause I got a use set that were for a 383 . I have those pistons for sale w/brand new mahle rings

I got a quote for balancing and machining 500 for both. Since the motor I have lost part of a ringland the damage was small it coam out running.

Well I am in NY everthing is expensive . BUt the balance was 225 and the hone was I belive $225 but I had a lot more to do I also had him assembel the short block the parts I got from him I think said were $800 .

Those are 4032 alloy forged pistons...i wouldnt run more than 10-12 psi boost on them or you're going to be repairing it and replacing with 2918 pistons.

Unless you ordered their custom race pistons and not their standard powerpak then you got 4032 alloy.
