Can you explain a little more what you mean when you say that using CO2 can bleed off backpressure?

Call Jose....he will explain all of it. This is just a brief summary...lol. I know you can independantly control your gate. So when the car comes on boost and backpressure starts to rise with it. As you reach the end of the comp map boost stays the same but backpressure continues to rise. You can then independantly crack the gate open to relieve the excess backpressure made. That will lower the EGT's and lower the backpressure, which will also net you a few ponies at the wheel as well.

So when the gate opens the boost does not go down?

No, not if your exhaust velocity is higher then your pressure drop.
