Boost+Meth. Any reason for 100 oct. ?

Boost+Meth. Any reason for 100 oct. ?

I'm only running a P1SC with 7 lbs boost (ya, like child's play for most of you) and have a 30% meth mix after 3.5 lbs. I'm heading out for the track for the first time with this setup. I'm not going to change the tune just for this, so my question is... would I get any advantage by running 100 oct. fuel? (lightening of wallet for overall weight conservation will not be considered

)

Do you have an intercooler? If so the meth will do you some good. But as far as the race gas yes and no, Because your not tuned for it and will see little to no gains.

If your talking about a performance gain I don't think there would really be any gains from it. But if your talking about safety it certainly couldn't hurt I wouldn't think.

100% Methanol in your Meth injection system (I use V.P. M3) + 93 octane gives you between 110 and 113 octane... No need for Race gas...

Thanks guys. I didn't think so since I have the Meth. And I can just put a little extra in the mix.
The nozzle I have is a 6 gph. Really small for cooling and "margin of safety".
