Default Wrong Pulley????

ATI sent my kit with a 4 inch pulley. I am only seeing 4lbs of boost on the dyno. Its the D1-SC. I do have LT's, a cam, and LS6 intake but thats about it. No head work. It only did 377.8 rwhp and 416.7rwtq. Air to fuel was great across the board. I did a search before i made this post and decided to call ATI and talk to one of there Tech's and i ordered the 3.2" pulley. How much boost do you think i will be seeing?? I shift at 6300 and its an A4.
TIA.
Kyle

Did you order the tuner kit, I had the same problem, they sent a 4.0" and the tuner kit is supposed to have a 3.6"...3.2" should be alright though...

Yeah I ordered the tuner kit. I had Jason at MTI do the tuning and when she put down those numbers we were both like..... what the hell is wrong with this thing. We then looked at the pulley and he said that it was huge. I measured it and it was like 4 1/16 wide so i ordered the 3.2" Those damn pulleys arent cheap. $80 bucks + $12 bucks shipping. Now i need a shorter belt. Any recommendations on what belt? They told me to get a 36 1/2" belt. By who though??? How much boost will i be seeing now?? Thanks

Try the 35.5" belt. I believe that is what I used with the 3.20" pulley. You may come close to doubling your boost.

Black LS1 T/A... Thanks for your input. ATI told me to use a 36.5" belt. Would the shorter belt work?? I hope i do double my boost. Thanks.

FWIW - Look at the side of your pulley. It should be stamped with the size, which is the diameter of the belt surface, not including the flange. The stamp on your original pulley probably says 3.85".

Sorry... re-thinking that, I think I used the 36.0" belt for the 3.20 pulley.

BTW...the best I've found is Goodyear Gatorbacks.
That would be a P/N 4060360.

Thanks Black LS1 T/A.
Yes Vince i know.... where else would i look around here. I will use that part number and ask for a 36" belt. A 36.5" belt would be to long??? why would ATI say that length??
Black LS1 T/A were you seeing no slip with the 36" belt over the 36.5" belt or did you ever use that length?? Thanks again for your help.
