Yep! Same set-up that I start in 2006. Generally speaking the turbos have held up very nice. Nothing else has but the turbos have
Have not weighed the SS since the turbo build in 2006. A good estimate would be 3400-3500... every time we take weight out, seems we put more back in. Still has the stock body panels except the hood.

Sweet man. Those 67s should have a little more in them but they're probably on the smaller side for a motor that big. My 347 with stock heads had 66's and would go 160 on 21 lbs of boost at 3450 lbs.

Again thanks
LTHomer - where have you been... haven't seen you around much. I agree the 67's are a little small... still has more in it. If only I could hook with more than 3-4lbs of boost.
Big props go out for my tuner/builder... Joey at "the shop" is great. Spends most of his weekends at the track with his projects.. us Turbo nerds.

Thunder Valley Dragways - Marion SD. 1/4 miles stuck in the middle of a corn field. Just learned over the weekend that a non-racer, 20-year old is managing the track this year. No wonder we don't have any traction..he has yet to learn how to prep it
Thanks again everyone for the positives

David... big congrats... huge achievement. Good to see when someone sticks with a car this long and really accomplishes what the car can really do. You need to take a journey somewhere else! I didn't even know there was a track in SD, desolate area, I got a lot of family from Sioux Falls and then Vienna, SD...

Nice job! There's not alot of people that can say they have run 8's. The run looked nice and smooth!
Tighten the back end a little and soften up the front end and put a little more boost off the line 6-7 lbs and give it a wack! You should be able to run a low 30 or high 20 60'.
Congrats again!!!!

Thanks... Let me know if you ever head up this way. We have only 1 more race - Mid Sep and than the track closes for the year. What BS, just when good weather will be coming in.
