smallest turbo on a 408

i gaurantee u the backpressure u would see running that small of a turbo would be no where near the pressures the motor would see on the power stroke.there are many production motor running way to small of turbos with no problems. a single t-70 is more than enough for the street with good lowend spool.

eh?? Obvious you have not put a pressure gauge on a manifold and see what a 408 through a small P-trim turbine wheel will do. Boost pressure will come in quick and drop even quicker after the comp wheel chokes. Nothing new here....some guys on this board have tried it. None of them are running T70/p-trims anymore on big cube motors.

again backpressure will be no where near combustion pressures. ..Combustion pressure is what causes heads to lift not exhaust back pressure. a t-70 will work on a 408 , have very good lowend boost and make 700-800 hp at the flywheel.will it choke the motor at some point sure ,all turbos do at some point. if u install a turbo u are going to have back pressure its just part of deal.
