The biggest problem that I have with Turbonetics is their lack of data. No turbine flow data with different ar's.....no compressor flow data......I own two of their turbos based on F A I T H ......

Only Garrett provides that information. All other companies don't provide it, or don't have it.

I'm going to buy two more Turbonetics this winter based on more F A I T H...
It's just hard to decide between twin TC78BB's or twin T76BB's with the larger compressor cover because you can't plot pr's....which is a shame...plus I'd like to try 0.63ar's on the turbines...but who knows how the comp flow vs turbine flow ratio is in line or not with the smaller ar?????
Tubonetics is big enough to provide some engineering data.....would help them sell turbos.....just don't call their "tech line"....call Jose.

Bullseye have published their compressor maps....not sure about their turbines though....

Dr Turbo....give us a crystal ball estimate here...
TC78 with a 0.81ar turbine vs a big cover T76 with a 0.81ar turbine vs a TC76 with a 0.81ar turbine...compare the spool characteristics of the three turbos on a twin 42x cube set-up. Compare peak power between the three turbos at 22 psi. AllT4's.
TIA.

I have a single TC78 .96ar and it spools very quick on my 346,
very happy with it ! and still room to grow with the race cover.
it's hard to beleive such a compact turbo performs as well as it does

Another quick Turbonetics question for you Dr Turbo:
Compare a T4 Super S 0.81ar turbine (released just before the new F1 was released)
to the new T4 F1 0.81ar turbine. Spool and total flow.

The TC76 almost spools up too quick. When I let go of the trans brake it goes right to my set boost rate! I'm going to try to use the boost controller to slow the ramp speed down.
