My fuel system is built to hold either or. How many people are running any of the following.
This is from CrazyChris. I was seeking info on the S91 since we have almost the same app.
Thats a bigggggg pick up in the turbo world.

Actually I just started converting for E85. Holy **** what a difference. Mine is a MN6 tranny and the S91 is way too big, until now. I got 800-1000rpm spool out of the E85 switch. It is a different car with that extra spoolup.
More fuel burnt means more area takin up in the exhaust housing, straight alcohol would hit the turbo even harder, not to mention both will make more back pressure on the turbine side too.

I've been running E85 in my TA for a quite while and I did notice a slight improvement (100-200 rpm with an auto) in spool time using E85 vs 93. But I also didn't make any big changes to the tune to try and improve spool between the two. I did notice a drop in engine running temps of about 5-7F when using E85 on a hot summer day. I would recommend running E85 but I would go a step cold plug than your using for gas to avoid preignition. I was running TR8s and had a couple plugs show slight preignition (knock sensors never picked anything up) with 16 degrees timing at 15 lbs. I'm running TR9s now with no preiginition.
Chris, did you do anything different in your tune to improve spool time with E85?
