Cheapest procharger
Cheapest procharger Where is the cheapest place to buy a procharger.... the procharger site does not list a price.... so i have been looking around and the cheapest place was at 4250 roughly.... OH yea,,, this is going on a 5.3 in a s10.... if you guys have any suggestions it would be greatly appreciated

you can go on the procharger web site and get a free booklet on your specific vehicle. I got the "Chevrolet Product Pricing Carb & Aftermarket EFI applications." The cheapest street/strip kit is $2495 and the highest race kit is $7295.

Then I would go with the D1SC. P1SC will make good power but the D1SC will leave a lot of room for growth. Id say run the D1SC kit pushing 8 psi and with a good tune and bolt ons you will be around 500 rwhp or so. D1SC can just push a good amount more air than the P1SC.

Better get some good measurements before you buy. The way the hoods slope downwards to the front and to each side on the S-series kinda makes it tough to fit the fullsize supercharger mounts. As an example, the L31 (the old 5.7) mount would bolt up just fine on the 4.3, but the hood wouldn't close. Add two more cylinders...even on the 5.3...and I fear you may be having to make a custom bracket.
