Default Stall recommendations for my 408 aps build

Going auto I think and soon . LIkely go with 3.54 gears possibly 3.73.
Engine to rev limiter would think be set to 7000 here that is still ok with built 408. Will be shifting normally quite a bit lower I would think but might go to 7000 at end of the quarter.

This car is street almost totally.
Mostly leaning to yank or precision industries. Not afraid to spend a bit more on precision 5 disc .Have precision 2800 in my 96z and its great. Got it used for cheap. Its just a single disc in that car.
I realize there are lots of other makes out there..fuddle, etc but was thinking to stick to the mentioned brands.

max hp with my combo with small shots of spray possibly would be around 800rwhp. Most of the time likely would be running maybe 650rwhp I think which should be more than enough on the street.

So should I be looking at 2800 vig 3000....3200,3400. and same question in yank and what model of yank exactly?
Will the 5 disc vig handle the power?
Cablebandit think said he went thru like 3 vigilantes but were they the top 5 disc or just triple or single disc units?

The disc is only for if you want to lock it up under WOT.

For a high hp turbo car, you need a company that knows there stuff on how to spec a stall.

A cheap stall will not hold the power, you will be looking at around 800-1000.

I believe some guys are having really good luck with Yank converters.

The pi 5 disc is for extra holding power, ive been told the 3 disc is good for 1400hp or so, not sure how they rate that based on weight though.

For NA cars, the PI's tend to be pretty good. They usualy come loose by a few hundred RPM's.

Your stall speed is your choice, it all depends on how you want it to drive. A PI 2800 is = 3000-3200ish.

I would suggest calling the diffrent companys and see what they say as far as what they can offer based on your needs. You will have to fill out a sheet or go over your setup with them, usualy things like, weight/hp/tq/stall speed/poweradder .
