Who has cleaned out their cats and how did you do it? getting ready to do mine in the next couple weeks and want to know the easiest way to do it.

use grider around the out side. then carefully clean out the inside. that stuff inside if it is in good shape is worth like 1200 per lb.

Just buy straight pipes. I think bassini (sp) makes them just to be safe. Or just by a y that bolts to stock folds.

I bought a set of mac pipes that bolted to the manifolds.2.5" s/s with a y. think it was 150 used on here. (probally 250 new) then sold the cats to someone who needed to pass smog. got 120 back after shipping .
