Questions for the turbo gurus

ill start with i have a 77 nova fully done up at with a 486 BBC with a nice hit of juice, im not very happy with the motor or the cost of race fuel. my buddy proposed a swap between the 2 of us as he wants a BB rather then SB turbo. the deal is his 355 fully forged SB chevy, with aluminum heads, intake, blow threw carb, t76 turbo and full kit, the motor is a 4bolt main, and he has the turbo cam in it now. the motor was originally designed to hold up to a f3 so the crank is keyed and every part of this motor is desired efficiently and is very well built. the only thing not included in this swap is the water to air intercooler but he told me at 10 psi or less i dont need one. at 12 psi he made a lil over 650 to the wheels. it is going into a street/strip car that rarely is takin out of the garage these days, but the swap seems kinda cool. i was just wondering how much power i could possibly make with this motor seeing as he was told the motor will hold up to 50 lbs of boost if he felt that crazy and if the turbo would hold up to it. he is giving me the turbo cam and blower cam, and the motor is currently 8.5:1 compression. he designed it to run on 91 pump gas which is another thing i like. my fuel system, trans, and suspension will work perfect with this if i decide to do it. but what kind of extra maintenance or problems should i worry about doing this swap? and i know im sorry its not a LS1, but i figured you guys have the wisdom no matter what style v8 it is
