Pontiac G8 ProCharger kits at EPP
yours is alot less do to an easier install. remember, you'll need longtubes 1200 +
install, so 1600 lets say installed ...so add that to the prochrgr and your good to go.

I appreciate the time you took to share what you & i both know to be very true about
said kit. it does have some naging issues that should be addressed by said company.
now, with that being said, what if made the wrongs right?
ie: oil line/fitting bung to pan, wrap hot side, eliminate the shytty worm crap, adjust oil pressure to turbo side, use all t-bolt clamps, fab/make solid mounting attachment point, ...the list is getting pretty long. lol
now, if those things were (and will be) eliminated/corrected would you still feel the remote mounts are a waste of time.? ( i noticed that firechicken install you guys did and it was sick)
your answer won't sway my thinking, as i'm doing the rear mount either way, but i do respect your opinion and knowledge.
again, thanks for your time and understanding in this matter.

Make sure you don't use catalytic converters with a turbo behind them! Bob

It'll be the spring now, not sure how the procharger will like daily driving in -20 to -30 degrees C winters
(Anyone you know running a procharger in winter climates?)Would I need to adjust the tune for the super cold IATs?
Also it looks like it runs off the regular belt system...Is a crank pulley required for this kit or is it inline with the accessories?

A crank pulley is NOT required, the 300's use a shared drive system-one single belt.

I have customers in other countries who run these blowers in the winter. We also have a customer up by Detroit who has been using his GTO driven ProCharger now for several years, and I am pretty sure he drives it in the Winter, as it was his daily driver.
The tune does not need to be adjusted for colder iat's.
No aftermarket crank pulley is required, there is a foot note for it for higher horsepowered applications. Lance has this covered in his post above. Bob
