Why do they want a single kit? For pure streetability, I would go with an APS kit with the bigger turbos. Power to make 900+, and a well designed kit.

Could always fab up a custom kit if you'd like.. Just make your own header or use one from a company or other source (which a lot of people have been doing recently and I'm sure you can find a thread or two on their builds). Any way, what's the customers goals and what's the project car.. We need to know after all.. lol..

Agree. Then TTi street kit might be his option. Is it onshelf turbo kit or built by request?

We build them by request but it usually doesn't take long (2-3 weeks) after a deposit is received.

Not to hijack but check this out if your curious:

The highest we've seen is 650RWHP on a 347"

T-76 TTi kit on my Camaro over here. I think it might have been one of the first kits. Unfortunately the previous owner kind of neglected the car. Awesome kit that retains A/C and power steering.

Where is the turbo positioned? In place of the alt, I guess?

Venom,

The street kit, which keeps A/C, is limited to 650RWHP as indicated in post# 29 above.

I'm only running 4psi on the 408 right now. No Dyno. I got the car from a buddy of mine. It had been setting for a few years with a blown Transmission. I imagine its putting down 450 or so.

The Turbo is located ahead of the K-member, below the power steering and above the sway bar. Here is a pic of the turbo. As you can see, the car sat for a long time.

Turbo sits too low compared to OFI but I understand it doesn't need different rad or pusher fans.

Turbo is almost invisable. I like how OFI kit shows off the turbo once you pop the hood.

To each their own but we've always been a big fan of keep the engine bay looking as stock as possible

But even with it sitting for as long as it did it still runs like a champ right? Its definitely has some weather damage but its still functional.

Oh yeah! It runs really strong. I honestly think the motor needs a little once over, and the turbo might need a rebuild. Other than that, all the welds held up, no cracks, no leaks. It sat for about three years and nothing done to it other than the motor turned over every other week or so.

This is what it looked like when I first started working on it.

Turbo Tech - Do you know what kind of turbo this kit might have in it? I want to say it was built in 02 - 03. It has n marking on it other than the A/R on the compressor housing.
