I would think 700whp would be good for a little better trap speeds.
Of the few cars running the TC setups (that have posted numbers/results) the ETs are all in the 10s and traps in the high 130 range. Not that this isnt great and all but I would think you should be able to get better results out of a turbo thats capable of whats probably 900whp. With that amount of power shouldent cars be knocking on the door of 8s at 145mph?
This is an honest question..which I'm asking only because I'm interested in getting a TC series turbo for my own setup.
I think 10.1/10.2@136-139 is strong and is probably around 650-700rwhp.
Getting it to run a little quicker and faster might just require a little more seat time, but in all reality it might force him to make changes he doesn't want to make.
Car have a roll bar in it?
I went 10.05@137.7 1.51 last weekend on 16 psi, if I worked on getting the past pass at this boost level it would easily go 9.8@140 on a 1.4x and with more seat time. I'll probably try it anyway.

I just reinstalled my new trans and i went with a vig 3600 instead of my old 3000 stall. So im hoping that will help my launch. Its going on the dyno this saturday to retune for the new stall. I would hope it could do 600whp lock on a mustang dyno which should be good for 130mph. I just dont see it happening for some reason.

A full weight street car and he ran 139mph.....that's 700rwhp maybe a touch more. Seat time is the major difference........ask Josh @ KYTP. His old car with some seat time and a TC76 went pretty dang fast. The first few passes were only mid-10 passes. The car dipped into the 9's@ over 140 I believe.

It did 6.1 in the 1/8 but third gear was cutting out. Like it was too rich but the WB was reading ok. I am wondering if my WB is going out IDK.
The problem is I don't live anywhere near a track so any tuning is done on the street. I will not tune at 130 plus on the street. I will try to go back next year & figure things out & see if it will dip into the 9's.
Awesome numbers by the way man, keep it up! You have high 9's and 140mph in you, i know it!!! J
I ran some leaded fuel for this weekend & I am wondering if my WB is off.
