Default daily drivers... how much boost ya running?

just curious how much boost people who either daily for frequently drive their cars run.

im planning on around 6 or 7 but i guess we'll see when its getting tuned

Good question. Granted my car by no means is a DD and only see's the best of days. I'd like to see the reliability vs boost, since that is my biggest concern.

10psi on stock 112k mile bottom end. Motor can take it just the trans. and the 10bolt that you have to worry about.

you should specify whether you're talking about stock motors or built/bigger cube motors.

I run about 14-15psi on my built motor/trans/9inch full weight street car.About 8k every spring and summer.

Although my vette isn't a DD, I do take it on a lot of long trips. You otta see how much crap I can pack into that thing.. and a dog!

right now it like 6-7 but its going to be around 15-17 i hope!! forged bottom end

stock bottom end 9-10 psi ..as long as its tuned right it can dish it out..6 months and going strong lol

once mine is tuned it's going to be running off of the 8 pound WG spring. stock bottom end and tranny/rear end. i'll up this thread once the thing blows up

Most of my Procharged time has been on 10 psi. Driven everyday in rain, snow, hot weather, whatever.

16lbs for the last month (on forged motor)........was at 10lbs before (stock motor)

3 PSI on a built 408. Not my DD but I drive it about twice a week to work. Trying to save my trans.

That's good to know.. I was worried about the amount of psi on a DD.. If I ever find the money again to fab up a FI setup (getting ready to bite the bullet on a 9"), I was scared of running more than 5.. I guess a lot of it is in a good, safe tune also..

Not really a DD, but i do drive it alot (in the summer) 7.9 pounds of boost- stock bottom end.. conservative tune- 543rwhp.. everything else has been replaced- except the block... maybe someday..
