Ok..couple quick shots after quick wash in driveway. Still have more emblems to install, getting some stripes for it too.
I know need to take side shot and should have taken one of back to show off new corsa tips and emblems and my plate in avatar.

Tommorrow maybe take some more although now that finally got it out and about weather is supposed to get rainy, windy and cold. But hey if have to put it down will get those big LG turbos on there and finish bit of other little stuff.

It felt great to hear boost again ,its been a long winter up here!

Thanks Tom. It was so great to take it around the block last night breaking in the new brakes. Didn't get up to more than couple psi but the original aps turbos are actually still working. I will likely get on it a bit more today depending on the weather.

But of course we had beautiful unseasonal weather for last week or two when car was not running and now that it is might get rain and cold maybe even some snow here and there. Par for the course in the great white north.

But won't let that depress me .Will just use the time to finish up more stuff on the car.

Nice looking AL. I've always wanted to do those brakes, but I more often than not run skinnies on the front of my car, since I have a 1.1 mile drive to work. I still get quite a bit of life out of them.

Sent you a PM by the way.

Out for some cruising today. Was out briefly yesterday then we got hit with this big time windstorm.Blew a couple of semis off the road..pretty powerful stuff. Almost blew our garbage bin into the 99 which was temporarily out of the garage so could do some work on wifes z28.
Today still pretty windy and cold wind but hey turbos like cold weather and I built my car to drive it not garage queen it. It was garage queened early in its life do to stupid clutch and hydraulic problems. Can't say miss my six speed ,getting to like my 4l80 with stall.

Just good to be out and about driving the car. We get a pretty short season up here from about april 1 to nov 1. So have to enjoy your car when you can.

Been crusing my car and tweaking a bit on tuning and stuff. Car is running good and standard turbos are so far still working ok. Have been working on wifes 96z last few days and have done ls1 front brake swap with upgraded rotos and pads front and back and its 100% improvement over her stock lt1 setup. Her brakes were worn out and warped to hell.

Doing some work also on my 91 talon race car project. Decided to just drive the 99TT for next few weeks and enjoy it. No point putting the car down in really nice weather.

Bit of update..
Haven't done too much on the 99 but did put in new subthump t top well box. Mounted my mtx amps under the subthump box maybe take a pic a bit later today of it. Looks very nice. Sounds great too with two 12s in there and some big power behind it.

I have new strange double adjustable shocks on order with some 325 front springs.
My car dropped from the iron block and turbo kit weight so want to bring it back up. Figured should just get the double adjustables to have ultimate control of my settings for rebound and compression. Hear the strange are ok as street shocks and the 325 springs should help as well. Track is not that important with this car, although debating putting in wolf rollbar mostly for safety and structural reasons.

Working a lot on my 91 talon race car lately.

Roll bar is also my big debate. i think if i do it though. i will do a ten point and paint it yellow. i think the yellow bar with the black int will look really nice.

I think would maybe get the bar powdercoated red but black is ok I guess. Silver might be another nice option maybe.

Well haven't updated for quite awhile.
Have done a few things on my car,my strange double adjustables are in and went to 300lb street spring instead of the hypercoil 325 pounder for now. Ride seems fine on the street with these shocks. No idea where to set them for now they are all set think middle settings.

I have not got my LG upgrades in. Still haven't installed my eboost solenoids, still running stock aps gate springs and still on asp turbos and they seem to still be working ok. No clouds of smoke, screeching from them still getting boost.

I have a few annoying issues with the car that so far not having much luck figuring out.
I have bad bad vibration issues past about 70mph and it gets horrible past 90 fast.
I had these previously. I don't think its tires, driveshaft. Not sure if its broken trans mount, trans tailshaft bushing or maybe torque arm angle problem. Just read guys with dana 60 are setting angle different think positive to get rid of vibrations. So might try that. Will have to get car on overhead hard to figure out on driveway with floor jacks.
Also my brm torque arm is banging tranny tunnel, already hammered it but guess need to hammer it more. I have relocation torque arm setup. And getting strange screech or squeal most noticeable on left turns can't seem to track that down and now my drivers headlight refuses to come up and have checked module, motor, wiring.makes no sense.

Little annoying things.
No track or dyno was waiting for the LG and then get dyno tuned then track it.
I did take my tazzo which is like a gtech to the car yesterday. At least to get some numbers
Some details. Cars was at minimum boost ,think its 7.5 but think usually see 6.5 max on the eboost2. Maybe my altitude..near 2000 feet above sealevel here?
Had passenger and weighed car . Car weighs 3925 1/4 tank no one in it with stereo in the car. So yesterday had me 250 and 200 pound buddy and 3/4 tank so figure 4400 raceweight.
Was trying to run my toyo tq didn't bolt on my et street radials. Played with air pressure the toyos at normal pressure weren't working at all. Some of that might be from not having new shocks set and from torque arm angle issues.
But blow the tires off big time in 1st, 2nd. Really blow them off if try to use two step launch or my stall. So just launched off idle . Practiced 60fts but best could get was 2.17. Dismal but that was best could get ,tires at 20psi , burnout to heat them up. Could have went down to 15psi according to toyo but didn't.

Then went out of town and did couple of 1/4 mile runs.
First run got 12.33 at 124.6 mph with 2.30 60ft.
Second run got 12.24 at 125mph with a 2.29 60ft.

The unit has gone down track in other cars for reference. It was within tenth of et, right on for 60ft and 2.5 or so mph higher than track mph.

But at least it was consistent on my two runs. Off idle and was spinning thru first and second so really couldn't go full throttle all the way thru .

Vibration was horrible past 90mph and at 120 something thought car was going to shake apart.

Would have run three runs but didn't like the vibrations. Get that figured out likely before try any more runs.

Lots of pontential there of course. Bigger turbos to install ,more boost, hook up spray, try et street radials, take it dyno and prepped track would think should be able to get 1.5 60fts anyway maybe even better.

And car is a heavy thing.

Still want to order up a new driveshaft and still think will get pst carbon fiber one.
Had carbon fiber in past and liked it ,very smooth ,zero vibrations.
Also might try the new nittos drag radial for daily use if can't get these toyos to work better after playing with shocks and torque arm angle.
I don't really want to drive on et street radials 24/7.
