I am not sure I dont have alot of time due to school and work. It will be cheaper for you to by the flange from FIS.

I just talked to them. He said to check with PTE and I'm waiting to hear back from them.

All you need is the flange right?

Im guessing. Looking at the flange again. It doesn't really look like a v band. It looks more L shaped.

what turbo is that? looks like maybe a gt42? You will have some radiator work to do to fit it in there... see the pic I posted at the end of page 1 of this thread.

Either way, it's not a match for this kit. I don't really understand why pick a route that you know will hurt spool and performance, and cost you a ton of extra work to get it in there when you could just sell what you have and get one that fits and that the setup was designed for...

Good luck either way, and let me know if you need any other pics or what-not.

Its a gt42. I don't have any extra money to buy another turbo while waiting for this one to sell.

Well it looks like you need a flange big enough for that turbo then you can take your DP center it in the new flange thats not welded to anything and weld it up. Still gonna be very restrictive though. Anyone that can weld can do this for you.

Also if you wanted alittle less restriction you could cut the flange of the DP and use and expander to make it large enough to weld to the new big flange. I am not sure if you can expand the diamater that much though.

Is the level of urgency enough to build a set-up significantly incorrectly?

A T4-flanged 76GTS with a 3 inch dp can damn near hit 900 rwhp just fine... You seem to be cutting your feet off in lieu of purchasing a longer bed...

I'll be selling this turbo if anyone is interested, not sure what a fair price is. But I'd like to be able to buy a 76mm turbo with the money.

I just noticed that you are in goose creek...
How is the Navy treating you? I was there in 03/04... I worked at the auto hobby shop for a year or so during power school and prototype.

Good luck with the build
