Ill be looking for a good bit more than 1200whp, so i am in the same boat if not worse. My block and heads are both o-ringed, so Im hoping that will help a good bit. My block was also drilled for 1/2 inch studs. Regardless, Im pretty much content with the fact if I want to make 1600whp, the motor is going to push water.

Simple fix! Just tig the heads to the block, problem solved. Well at least the pushing water problem! LOL

Probably a little, but I would say the heads actually lift, and this is the reason for the new 6 bolt design. They bolt down the head where they lift at.

,
I have a friend that cemented the block , 4 bolt and didn't push water. The two extra 8mm bolts aren't the whole answer. It's the extra 60lbs of webbing in the block. I have oring, et heads and half inch studs. There's no way the heads are lifting! Other four bolt blocks run more power not pushing water. JMO.

You guys that have pushed water... have you pulled your plugs and seen the coloration? If so, what did they look like? Rusty or cruddy, etc?

L19 studs a option? I have been doing some research the last few days. I have a catch can so I can check it. I have the 5 or 6 layer GM MLS gaskets with ARP Studs and LQ9 heads or LS3 type.
