Default Need help with injector size

Ive been told that 42 pounders will work for my turbo build but now im second guessing myself. Do you think the 42's will be fine or should I get 60's? my setup is a stock ls1 long block with a T70 with about 6 psi.

42's will indeed work, for now. I'd go with 60's though so you have enough injector for future mods. The price between the two sizes is not that much anymore. Bob

okay my tuner was worried that the 42's would give out and my system would run out of fuel. I dont really want to go over 6 ps, but Better safe then sorry

don't worry too much about that, there can be a lot of other adjustments and changes made to prevent that

I agree with the other posts. That T70 puts out a ton of volume even at 6psi. 60's are the way to go

Okay 60's it is. Would I be fine running a walboro 255 direct fit fuel pump or do i need more?

I can do the Siemens Dekka (mototron) in 60lb, flow matched, viton o-rings installed, for $54 each. And I can give you free shipping on them.

I would go with a bigger pump as a 255 pump maxes out at a 51lb injector.

those 60#ers are actually (at 58psi) 7x# injectors; so I would at least go with a 340 or higher fuel pump

You could also do a dual kit, either from a sponsor or MightyMouse's sticky at the top of this section. I suspect either would do you very well.

I wont be pushing over 6 psi with the turbo. I wont be using the full potential of the injectors. so would a 255 still not be okay?
