Default Options utilizing current fuel press gauge with FAST

My old setup used the service port of the factory fuel rail to attach an Autometer elect fuel press gauge. The new setup will be a fast with some brand of fuel rails Speed inc or other. I am trying to figure out how I can incorporate my pressure gauge into the rails. It needs to be done on the drivers side rail because the wiring was made to length and I really do not want to cut the harness to make it longer. With having the feed line into the front of the drivers side rail I was thinking of using a -8 tee fitting and using a -8 to 1/8 npt adapter(if they make that). Would this work or is there a better setup? Thanks for the opinions.

Wow, with all the sponsors on here selling their own fuel rail setup would have thought there would of been some ideas passed around. Oh, well guess I will figure it out myself. Thanks anyway.

Are you using steel braided line? How do you plan on routing the fuel lines? There are many AN adapters with an 1/8" NPT port for fuel pressure adapters.

If you can provide a little more detail on your new fuel system I can help.

I plan on running a rail setup like a speed inc or equiv. I will have the steel braided crossover in the rear. The factory feed line into the drivers side front. My thought was to use a tee -6 out of the rail and have the feed line go into the side of the tee and try to find a -6 to 1/8 female(very hard to find if it exists) and install the sending unit on the end of the rail like the factory setup allowed me.

You can do something like this by RevXtreme:



and cross over in the rear instead of the front. You could then use something like this Earl's fitting (100199ERL) on the drivers side front of fuel rail. It would put the sending unit at a 90 degree angle from where you have it mounted currently.:
