Bulkhead In Plastic Tank.....??

Bulkhead In Plastic Tank.....?? Kinda a dumb question, ive searched but came up with nothing. Has anybody ever ran a bulkhead in a plastic tank? If so any issues with it? Thanks for any help
The screw-together fittings look OK for a metal tank, but I think their narrow clamping surface and gasket look dangerous for a plastic tank. I found a through tank fitting at McMaster http://www.mcmaster.com/#3765k32/=ffu2i

that I copied and improved by adding more studs. I feel confident that it won't tear out of the tank, and it can be tightened if it leaks.
It will be at the bottom rear of my tank, and I don't think that it will run dry, because it will feed a boost-activated pump. So the pump will only run when the gas is sloshed to the back of the tank, and when I let off the pedal and the gas sloshes forward, the pump won't be running.
