boost dependent FPR- return system

i saw this picture on another website, is it possible to route my fuel pressure regulator in this fashion where the stock distribution block is for the 98 camaro ?

You could, but pressure control will not be accurate unless the regulator is mounted at the rail.

A rear mount regulator is not a good way to control pressure.

Apparently a 2-inlet regulator will allow one of the inlets to act as an outlet if used as pictured? Is that the purpose of mounting that way? Is it any more or less accurate when mounted this way as compared to usint the factory T and in-tank regulator?
