Racetronics FP just quit.

Racetronics FP just quit. While we were out tuning my car the FP simply stopped. Here's what happend.
We were in first gear going through the RPMS slowly to hit all the cells for tuning, I shifted in 2nd gear held it till about 4000rpms then left off to make a right hand turn, then the car simply shut off with no warning. We checked over the wiring to the FP through the access panel I cut out, and everything looked fine. We then jiggled the relay and now it runs perfectly. I wonder if the ground to the relay got corroded, and maybe the relay got hot.. I don't know, regardless I cleaned the ground real good. It has never done this before in all the years I have had it, and it might have 15k-20k miles on it. I checked over the wiring on it as well, and the wires from the FP to the floor board, and they look fine too. None of the wires have been stressed or pulled. I run a 200 shot on this, and thank God I wasn't spraying when this happend.
So do any of you have any other suggestions, or does that sound like maybe the ground got corroded?
