Using Techron to clean injectors?
One treatment alone will not do much ...you need to do several tank fulls to really clean it out...but it works!!!
I'll try it pretty soon, I'm at 1/2 tank right now.
I have not used it yet, however. It's directions are very similar to the bottle you bought. I'll check the contents tonight.
The stuff I have been using for a long time is cheap at $3.00 per bottle; it is sold at Martha's place (K-Mart) and is mostly methonal based... anyway, after several tank fulls, it cleans the fuel system really well....I've used it for years....great stuff...
MB techs have been using this forever, it and Redline are one of the few things that actually work(do what they say it will).
Redline makes a product called 85 plus it is by far the best injector cleaner, pre chamber, and combustion chamber cleaner you can put in a deisel!!
Another one beleive it or not is one from Auto Zone TL-3 is good on injectors, if a label says it will work on the BMW"s and MB's it good enough for any thing else.
Lubro moly makes a Ventel Sauber injector cleaner that works real good, they also make a deisel purge for high milage cars and trucks that rocks. Deisel Purge does works great on GM deisel that have not been cleaned in a while, pour it in a fuel filter fire it up and rev it couple of times. Just don't do it a garage with out fresh air mask, it will pour the smoke! You can also rig it up run it straight, the can as a fuel tank with a return and it does wonders.

I'm mainly doing this because I'm doing a 125K mile tuneup on the truck, and this was on my list, but the idle is not the smoothest.
PSJ: I would run it through once or twice.I have always used a full tank of untreated gas in between fuel systems cleaners.
Try to avoid solvent based cleaners. Techron and Redline are detergent based. If you don't have Redline available in your immediate area the local BMW (one on every corner in Chicago right?) dealership should carry it in 6oz sizes. I can get the BMW part number if you need it.
If that doesn't do it for you there are treatments plumbed directly into the fuel rail which usually work pretty well.
Finally,If you want to get serious send them off to a company like JET that will vibratory and/or chemically clean and flowtest your injectors.
