Question Sealing an oringed Aeromotive FPR?

any tricks or recommendations on sealing an aeromotive FPR that uses orings?

new reg, new fittings with orings, but getting some bleed from the seals/seats/orings.

thanks

I'd look at the diameter of the o'ring being too small. [Both the ring material thickness, and the od of the ring]. Even if the ring material is correct, and the overall diameter of the ring is too small, it'll be stretched too much, reducing the material od, = no seal.
I'd also look at the possibility of the fitting bottoming out in the reg, B4 the o'ring is compressed.

thanks Chuck.

fittings w/orings were purchased from aeromotive, i hope they sent the right ones, although it wouldnt be the first time an error was made.

to clarify:
its not leaking to the point of seeing any fuel, you can see where dust/road grime is collecting/sticking to the fpr around the fitting.
on occassion i do smell fuel tho once i park it in the garage, but not sure if thats just the braided line from rail to fpr venting like others have mentioned.

thanks mang.

you'll smell fuel thru braided lines for sure...

did you put some oil on the o-rings when installing for lubrication?
