We have mounted them inside the rear back by the right rear quarter panel. I have a lot of info at this link, as well as installation instructions. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...html?item=1104 I have this unit in stock. Bob

Im rather pissed at my aeromotive fuel pump controller. I have the A1000 pump, and with it on low speed, the pump doesn't supply enough fuel for the car to even idle. It starts to go lean, then dies. I have to run it in manual override all of the time. Huge waste of money. I think it was designed for carburetor applications in mind. Mine is the red voltage regulator, not like the one in the link above, though it matched the description.
Mine in the car...

You don't lower the voltage of the pump as this will damage it. You modify the pulse width of it. You can get pulse width modulation controllers on Ebay for about $70 that do the same thing as the controller. Then you just need a Hobbs switch and a relay to bypass it under boost. Then you can smile because you saved yourself $300.

Or if you got the cash get a pump with a controller built in.

MagnaFuel or the Fuel labs mentioned that do not need a controller.
