going thru relays w/ the inline Bosch...
( which I really don't need now w/ the in-tank Walbro feeding the in-line Bosch )
thinking it was the MSD wigging out, I bypassed it and realized it was the relay...
changed it out and all was good until that relay started nuttin' up as well...
have been told to get a Bosch 30amp relay and socket/pigtail:

saw online where one guy went to this:

I do like the screw connections for power in and out...but...
I can get a starter solenoid cheaper than that and it should have no problem with amperage either...
any suggestions or comments?
spoke w/ a local performance shop and they said that the DD'ing of the vehicle is prolly whats killing the relays...said they use NAPA ST95's all over their street cars for pumps, fans, etc...anything that pulls a good bit of amperage for extended periods of time...
gonna p/u a BWD equivalent (S672) @ work tonight @ O'Reilly...
is DC current, or arcing damage on break (from the
motor inductance)? The latter may want a snubber
circuit (R, C across relay contacts).
If the relay body is not getting hot under continuous
duty, it may be more of an arcing problem.
also how bout putting a fuse inline? cheaper than relays.
i grab the $3.99 40 amp fuses from advance whenever i'm in there. havent had any trouble from them
