fluctuating idle vs fuel mixture?
let me make this as simple as I could, get a rich or lean mixture cause a fluctuating non stable idle, and possible frequent stalling of the vehicle under a free rev?
the other thing ill be looking at is minimum running airflow, but I just need some insight on this one. I know a bad fuel mixture once caused the vehicle to buck and surge at cruising speeds, but never faced a problem at idle.

I found over-rich idle after cam swap really destabilized
idle. If you're very rich then the motor is slow to respond
to incremental air, and the loop "winds up" and overshoots
/ undershoots instead of settling tightly to its goal.
Airflow base is the initial guess. A smaller error is good, it
gives less of an initial perturbation to the loop. But every
throttle blip is a new adventure.
