"dropped tank only to find it was none"

What does that mean? No fuel in teh tank? Or???

OK, start from the top....

You were driving the car (or not) and car died? Or car was sitting, and was running fine one day, and next you hop in, and nothing?

Did you do ANYTHING to the car before this? Replace ANYTHING that may have caused a fuse/relay to short?

You have an alarm on this car? Try "disarming" it with key pad..

I am shooting blanks until we get more info from ya...
